Faith Wood is a Teacher in the Lower Elementary class. She completed her BA in Liberal Studies from Florida College and has an M.Ed in Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University. Faith worked as an Instructional Assistant in a public school before discovering Aggieland Country School and the Montessori method of education. This is her second year at ACS and she is excited to learn while supporting her students and fellow teachers! Faith enjoys taking care of her dog, Coco, and spending time with her loved ones. She also loves hiking, traveling, reading, and learning new hobbies.

Grace Gardner is a Lead Teacher in the Upper Elementary Classroom. She completed her BS in Psychology at Texas A&M and is currently working on getting her AMS certification through Gulf Coast Montessori. Prior to Aggieland, Grace worked in social work serving people experiencing homelessness in Phoenix, AZ then here in College Station at the Brazos Valley Food Bank. Grace is also a “Montessori kid” and attended a Montessori school through 6th grade. It was those great memories and a love of the Montessori method that inspired her transition to becoming a teacher. This is her second year at ACS and she is excited to get to know the upper elementary students! Grace loves showing students the beauty of Montessori math, cooking and sharing meals with friends and family, going to farmers markets, and cuddling with her two cats.

Dolan Banerjee is the Lead Teacher in the Lower Elementary class. She enjoys guiding children and is enthusiastic about helping them realize their own unique potential. Dolan has completed her Bachelors in Biological Sciences from University of Burdwan, India. She is certified as an Early Childhood Educator from Fremont, CA. Her Montessori journey started in the Primary classroom of Aggieland Country School in 2011, and she has been part of the ACS family ever since. Dolan holds Primary and Lower Elementary Montessori credentials. Her favorite things about teaching Montessori are helping children to become independent learners, guiding children to be peaceful leaders in their communities, and becoming responsible global citizens. Dolan enjoys watching students give lessons to their peers in the classroom, and loves singing, gardening, cooking with her children and spending time with her family and nature.

Manjari Banerjee is the Owner/Director of Aggieland Country School, and Lead Teacher in the Upper Elementary class. Dr Banerjee has completed her M.Ed and PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. After teaching Mathematics in a local area high school, she discovered the Montessori Method of teaching in the Primary classroom of Aggieland Country School. She has been a part of the school since 2010. Dr Banerjee has been a Primary Lead Teacher, Lower Elementary Lead Teacher and Upper Lead Teacher. Dr Banerjee holds Primary and Upper Elementary Montessori credentials. Dr Banerjee loves reading, gardening, knitting and crocheting, taking walks, and watching her students sing while they play on the playground.
