Primary Teaching Staff

Renae Bartholomew is a co-teacher in the Primary classroom and is working on her Primary Montessori Certification. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree at Texas State University and holds dual BAs in English and History. Renae has been in various schools since 2010 as an educator, a coach, and an administrator. For over six years, she served as the Director of a Montessori School in Mobile, AL. Renae discovered Aggieland Country School when relocating back to the Brazos Valley and has been a part of the ACS family since last year. Renae loves sports and really enjoys the outdoors: hiking, camping, off-roading, and adventure seeking.

Lily Gotthardt is a Lead Teacher in the Primary Classroom. She has a bachelor's degree from A&M in University Studies, with double minors in Sociology and Creative Studies. Previously she has worked in the Montessori environment for two years as a teacher assistant and has worked in a traditional primary setting for two years prior to that. Currently, she is working on her Montessori Primary credentialing and is very excited to be a part of the loving ACS family.

Mingzhu Yan is a co-teacher in the Primary Classroom. She has Primary Montessori credentials and has been a member of ACS staff for the past year. She is fluent in Mandarin, French and English.

Esther Cruz has been a part of the Aggieland Country School family since 2016. She has served as an Assistant Teacher in the Primary and Elementary classrooms. She has an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. She enjoys working with the children in school, and in her free time she loves sewing, baking and spending time with her family.

Amrita Sen is the assistant teacher in the Primary classroom and has been a member of ACS Staff for the past year. She has completed her Bachelor’s Degree in English from University of Burdwan, India. In the last two decades, she has stayed in various countries like New Zealand, Japan and India. She has 4 years of Montessori experience in Japan, and she has spent 2 years in Montessori teaching in India. Amrita loves painting, cooking, travelling, and spending time with her family.
